Summer Reading Program 7/5-7/28 (Wednesday 10:00am)

Join us every Tuesday & Friday @ 10am for the entire month of July to dance and drum the morning away with Rob Zollman of Sally's Music Circle!
Rob's BFPL Summer debut will be Wednesday, July 5 and then we'll revert to every Tuesday & Friday for Sally's Music Circle.
Every Wednesday and Thursday @10am will be Kathy with a story and a craft related to our theme of "Build a Better World".

Catapults with Sue (Wednesday 2:00pm)

Join us at the Library for a fun afternoon of catapult building. How far will yours fling?


Bees & Beekeeping (Wednesday 2:00pm)

Come to the Library and learn all about bees, why they are important, and how beekeepers do their job! See all of the components of a hive and learn about how bees exist in their colonies.
Fun for the entire family!


Solar Oven Workshop (Wednesday 2:00pm)

Join us to learn about solar ovens. Construct one and make s'mores!


Meet the Vermont Birds of Prey (Wednesday 2:00pm)

Join us at the Brandon Town Hall for Vermont Raptors!
Three to four live hawks, owls, and falcons will come for a face-to-face exploration of what it takes to be a raptor.


Miss Debbie’s Famous Tea Party (Friday 3:00pm)

Wear your fancy hat or bow tie and join us for a tea party and picnic on the lawn.

Brandon Sits! Community Meditation


12:30pm -

A weekly meditation circle - no experience is necessary. This is for anyone who:

-has been hearing about meditation's benefits and wants to give it a try but doesn't know where to start

-could use the structure of a regular meditation session to support their new practice

-is a regular meditator who would enjoy sitting in the company or other meditators, or

-would simply savor a brief, silent interlude in the busyness of their day

We will be sitting on chairs but if you want to bring your own meditation cushion please feel free. New to meditation? Welcome! Please plan to arrive the first time at 12:30 and you'll receive an orientation to and guidance in mindfulness meditation to help you get started. Sit for 10 minutes, 20 minutes or more. Friday Afternoon Story Hour

Bring a friend and enjoy a free movie screening on the big screen upstairs. Call the Library for titles. Popcorn provided!

Magic: the Gathering Drop-In Gaming

Do you play Magic: the Gathering? Come to the library to show your stuff! New to tabletop gaming or trading card games? No problem! Come try out Magic: The Gathering at Brandon Library.

Both new and experienced players of all ages are welcome.
